Pneumatic, constant pressure anti-bedsore mattress used in prevention and therapy of bedsores. Made of inflammable PVC, contains no heavy metals, easy to maintain. Mattress is equipped with facings to enable stable positioning of the patient’s bed, very helpful in case of evacuation. Mattress is equipped with manual pump, or (optional) electric pump and repair kit of mechanical punctures. Thanks to unicameral construction and use of air the effective pressure of 17 mmHG can be obtained (with the patient on mattress), which enables not only effective prevention, but also proficient therapy. Functioning principles of the constant pressure mattress: Internal pressure in human cardiovascular system is close to 17 mmHG. Bedsore appears due to long term pressure, causing closure of blood vessels, hypoxia and eventually tissue necrosis. Because the constant pressure mattress causes no pressure on blood vessels that is higher than the natural one, it eliminates the chance of bedsore emergence by elimination of its cause. It is the virtue that makes constant pressure mattresses excellent support of bedsore therapy, significantly better than changeable pressure mattresses. Matress has 2 year manufacturer’s warranty.

Pneumatic, alternating pressure anti-bedsore mattress with tubular construction, featuring highest number of cells, with cover. Made from PVC which enables clean upkeep. Smooth manual pressure adjustment inside mattress (30-80 mmHG) enables selection to individual patient’s weight. Work cycle of the pump – 10 minutes. Mattress with casings to stable positioning on patient’s bed is equipped with tissue oxygenation system. Mattress features micro openings, through which air is forced under patient’s body. It ensures safe contact of the mattress with human body and accelerates bedsore therapy. One extra cell is included to each mattress.

Thanks to its construction based on division of the mattress into air cells we achieved even weight spread of patient’s body, adequate ventilation (oxygenation and moisture extraction), and thanks to excellent thermal properties of air – thermal comfort. Operating principle of anti-bedsore mattress with changeable pressure pump: Air is being pumped to the mattress through tubes. Mattress cells are filled with air alternately by a pump, ensuring continuous change of sections supporting patient’s body. The body is maintained steadily on the same height regardless of the pumping cycle.
