Rehabilitation equipment \ Bedsores

Outline of how the bedsores are forming:

  • blood vessels are closed by continuous pressure.
  • oxygen and nutrition substances do not reach the cells.
  • metabolism products are not diverted.
  • after some time (1,5 – 2 hours usually suffice) the tissue dies and the necrotic process starts.

Dead skin tissue results in appearance of external ulcers (trophic changes). This process of decaying and ulcer formation resembles the volcano eruption. Like the lava, dead material is secreted outside.

Early detection is imperative!
