Due to its unique patented design allows upright position and locomotion without assistance in most cases. Locomotion is possible by balancing of the trunk with parallel, synchronic and delicate movement of arms. These patients with high spinal cord injury / dysfunction
may move only with assistance.
Flexibility of adjustment
Parapodium is a product individually selected to every patient's individual needs based on measurement chart. It has, however, wide range of adjustments to perfectly fit each patient. It is possible to adjust height of device, height of knee support, height of handgrips and lateral
arm support. Adjustment of width is done at the level of hips and knees. In addition, depth of upper part and location of chest support may be adjusted. All these adjustments allow proper fitting and raise patient's level of comfort.
