Bedsores therapy and prophylactics
Bedsore (decubitus) – necrosis of tissues covering mainly osseus base, arising due to long term pressure. Pressure causes full or partial blood vessels obstruction (“nutritive deficit”).
People spending time on wheelchairs or bed are exposed to much higher pressure than those, who can maintain vertical position. Human body is “constructed” to function in upright position.
